F.lli Manghi sponsors the Fontanellato women’s volleyball team, which takes part in the B1 championship and is a natural outlet for talents
nurtured in the volleyball schools of the Polisportiva Il Castello sports club.
Starting in September, players and management work together on motivational and technical aspects, and define the objectives for the season and the consequent programme of activities.
It is this ability to involve everyone in a project, and the attention given to ideas and planning, without leaving anything to chance, that enables the team to overcome difficult moments rapidly and link the activity to the idea of taking part in building an important system that takes the form of a lively sporting community.
In 2004, the Fontanellato volleyball team achieved a historic feat by reaching an almost inconceivable goal in just two years: promotion to B1.
This goal was reached in the field by overcoming some difficult moments, by making up for lost opportunities and exploiting the reactive
abilities of the group and the technical skills of the individual players.
